Hi.
My upvc porch door stuck the other day at the bottom. I pulled it and it all unlocked apert from the bottom bolt that goes into the frame at the fill keeper. When I pull handle up it will come out no problem but when turning as to open door it sticks slightly and does not retract fully. I assume it may be bent hence the fouling and not retracting. I know you can change a mechanism but can you change the internals ?. any suggestions please would be of great help

A picture would help however if you have shoot bolts on a door it's likely you have a 3 piece mechanism i.e. the centre part and then a shoot bolt extension top and bottom, they connect with male and female teeth

Yes it’s defiantly the bottom shoot bolt. I assume these can be bought separately to the rest of the mechanism. The gearing works fine and obviously the eurocylinder is good too. Just the bottom shootbolt is the prob.

It's just a case of removing a screw, sliding the cover off the joint, disconnecting the shoot bolt from the main mechanism and moving the shoot bolt up one tooth and reassembling
