Hi

Our shower tray has cracked and wife wants to put in a bath in its place, only problem is it's all tiles round the shower from floor to ceiling and the whole length of the wall the bath world go, we don't have the money to rip the tiles out and redo, is it possible to install the bath against the tiles or are we just asking for trouble with leaks?

Doable, the bath is likely to require support, so you will need to run battens where the bath makes contact to the wall, so supported from underneath, then a good helping silicon sealant on top of batten and wher bath is to offered to tiles. Leave to dry.
Make sure you have bath height correct for bath panels, prior to fitting battens.
