Can you someone name this part for me? Water filter leak.

Hi guys,

Our water filter has sprung a leak and has been soaking the corner of my garage. We have water coming from an external private supply.

Can any of you name this part for me, or tell me what a suitable modern replacement would be?

I can shut off the water and fit it. I just don't know what it's called!

If you can find one the right size, you might find that just replacing the O-ring will stop the leak.

Looking at how old the filter seems to be - I'd be looking to change it. It has done its job and doesn't owe anything.

Likely, your best bet, is to simply replace the entire unit.
