Can anybody tell me what type of roller this is please.
I wrapped it in a plastic bag about a month ago to carry on using it the next day but didnt get get round to it and it has been like that ever since. Went to clean it yesterday and it is rock hard and the hair has started coming out in clumps.
The worst part is it isn't mine, it's my dads and he's had it for years so could really do with getting another one. He always siad it was a mohair (sp) but having looked that up I don't think it is.

If anyone knows what they are called and where I am likely to get one from I would be very grateful

Well it looks to be what is left of a 9" long pile sleeve, you can pick these up from any shed you can get the sleeve handle and plastic tray for a few quid.

If you poke it with a stick it'll run and hide under the sofa.
