More irony. Did anyone see this programme on BBC2 last night?

I watched it from start to finish last night.
It was comedy gold.

The muslims vowing to take back their streets from the invasion of the roma.

You couldn't make it up.

Hey 66, Did you see the documentary a few weeks back, about people up north dumping their rubbish in the alleyways which run between the backs of the houses.?????  That was even better.

The head of the council department responsible for prosecuting these offenders, was standing in front of an alley of rubbish, explaining that in all the years of her being in charge, she tries her best to catch people in the act but never can.

Then, as the camera continues rolling, in the background a little old muslim woman, walks out of her back gate holding a large bin, and tips it all over the alley. The cameraman could hardly keep still from laughing.

What goes round, comes around. Never a truer saying.

Wonder who the Romas will be complaining about in 15 years time?

No, missed that one unfortunately.

Of course she was prosecuted and received a very heavy fine and/or a jail term for fly tipping?

Or did they turn a blind eye because it is part of her culture to hoy her trash anywhere she pleases and to tackle her would be oppressive, racist and overbearingly insensitive to her minority status?

Neither black nor white are colours, and grey isn't either.
White and grey are.

They reflect all and some parts of the spectrum respectively.

Not wishing to be pedantic but, from the OED:

"[count noun] One, or any mixture, of the constituents into which light can be separated in a spectrum or rainbow, sometimes including (loosely) black and white: a rich brown colour, a range of bright colours."

So, a 'loose' definition would include black and white; a more accurate definition would not.
:)

Authorities of all kinds are naturally afraid of the ROP. 'Racism', 'islamophobia', 'human rights': a very powerful arsenal with which to beat us around the head. Of course no-one dare say anything.

Wishing to be correct; you did not quote the primary definition:

1 [MASS NOUN] The property possessed by an object of producing different sensations on the eye as a result of the way it reflects or emits light:

True black does not reflect any light. It is absence of colour.
There is no need for loose definitions.

Ask an artist. Black, grey and white are 'tones', not colours.

Ask an artist - they'll tell you an unmade bed is worthy of critical acclaim
In a very real sense it's an expression of the subliminal inner turmoil that takes place while one sleeps and attempts to harmonise the ego and the id. ;)

I admire these people. They're clever enough to know that there's one born every minute.
