I am having an intermittant fault with a candy cdw254. Sometimes it will drain and sometimes it will not. It can go for weeks ok then stop and I have to empty it by hand

any ideas

If this is a CDW254/1UK with product number 32143133 (check the door sticker) then it must be getting on for 10 - 12 years old.
Check the waste hose & sink spigot are clear, if they are ok change the pump. Nothing lasts forever....
