Cannon Gas Cooker Alarm

The timer warning bell on my Cannon Chichester gas cooker seems to work only intermittently. Sometimes it will work correctly, but mostly it doesn't sound or at times rings once or twice and then stops before I can cancel it.

Any suggestions as to how I can access and repair it?

Is that one of the really old ones with glass fronted clock or does it have a digital timer
