Cannot activate Eco mode on Glow worm boiler

I have a new Glow worm Energy7 18s system boiler.

I would like to de-activate the pre-heat mode by selecting the Eco mode but pressing the + and - buttons for 5 seconds does nothing.

I believe a link on the PCB should have been removed during commissioning? How can I check whether this has been done and can I then remove the link myself or does this require an electrician's visit?
