Could anyone tell me how to open attachments? When I click on the paper clips they just go faint & cannot be opened?Any ideas please.

Assuming you are using Outlook Express on XP, the default security settings are not to allow attachments to be opened.
Open Outlook Express, Click Tools and then Options. Click on the Security Tab and de-select the 4th option that says 'Do not allow attachments to be saved...'
