hey everyone,

I tiles my bathroom floor and installed a new toilet and i need to fix the toilet to the floor.

BUT the drill wont go through the tiles, they are absolutly solid, its killed 3 drill bits and just gets red hot and barely makes a mark in the tile lol

is there a special tool bit i need to buy to go through solid tiles?

thanks

6mm diamond coated holesaw will be the best bet for your porcelain tiles

A good tile shop should have them, even B&Q warehouse now do them.

hey guys

so you think they would be porceline? on the box it just says the sizes and that its 7.8MM thick

the drill bits we used look more like the masonary ones on the screwfix website.

Father in law is gonna pop to jewsons or somewhere like that tomorrow i think

These are what you need, get about 6 holes per drill before they are blunt.

Jewsons is a builders merchant, you need a tile specialist supplier
