I wish to place the cold feed behind a sheet of aquapanel. The aquapanel will be attached to battens which have been fixed to a solid wall . I will then drill 15 mm through panel and tiles to fit to electric shower. Is it better to drill hole in tile before fitting to panel with adhesive and then drill through aquapanel? Can you recommend a suitable drill please?

What sort of tiles? I used normal masonry bits on my bathroom travertine tiles. Hard tiles would need a proper diamond coated bit. Remember to turn off the hammer action and take your time. I personally would drill it once it's on the wall but if you are worried about breaking it then no reason not to drill it first.
