Hi

I was hoping someone might recognize my toilet seat as I have moved into a house and can find a replacement for it anywhere, it have to metal bars sticking out the top and tightens with a t screw driver. I have attached some pics to help!

Any help would be very much appreciated! Thanks in advance

It is a bog standard (pardon the pun) shaped seat. What are the hole centres, i.e. where the metal bars stick up from?

It's unlikely you'll get an exact match, so will probably have to remove the steel bars and start from scratch.

It's two metal rods about an inch long that the t screw's screw in to

Obviously a novice.
Hole centres is the distance between the centres of 2 holes.
What are the hole centres where the "two metal rods about an inch long that the t screw's screw in to" attach to the pan/bowl/bog/loo/basin?

Haha I'm afraid I am, the distance between the holes is 14cm, they screw in to the pan, I think you can unscrew them with an Allen key.

But a bit worried about loosening them incase there attached to something that might fall out and then be completely buggered and have no toilet seat m

Looks like it may be a Twyfords Avalon seat. They had the same sort of fitting to the toilet pan.
