hi all

i am having trouble removing a shower riser, and can't figure out how this is attached.

the pole is attached to the horizontal bars with no allen key holes, no cover plate. there must be an internal screw holding it to the wall, so how to i get into it?

the riser has a screw off cap top and bottom, but inside is a blank, there's no vertical screw holding the riser to the horizontal bar .

i can't find a similar one online that i could read the installation instructions!

i'm close to taking an angle grinder to it? at least it would be removed.

thanks
gar

I'll bump this up.

I don't know as not seen one like that before.
What if you tap this bit in?
Any movement?

Just a guess but try squirting WD40 down pic 4 now that pic 5 is removed and leaving to soak
.As Wayners says it looks like something in the tube might be spring loaded and release when the end caps are removed.

hats off to wayners, you nailed it. there was a long screw from the wall extending into the riser. something inside was spring loaded to clip the screw head, and with a gentle tap the pole came off.

thanks all!
