Hello everyone.
Been having a few problems with my central heating of late. It started when I was having a shower and the water temp kept fluctuating and there was a drop in pressure. My flat is rented so the landlord sent in a engineer, but on his arrival there was a power cut!! So unfortunately there was nothing he could do at that time. Well I can't get into contact with my landlord again until Jan 4th and I'm getting really hacked off. So as power is back I've had a go at recharging the boiler as I see the pressure has dropped under 1bar. So I turn the tap located under the boiler in a cupboard, but nothing happens?. You cant even hear water passing through. So I removed the recirc flexi pipe and turnt the tap and water started to gush out? But once the I reattach and try again, nothing. I did a bit of research and someone mentioned I needed a key, so I phoned a plumbmerchant who said yes I needed a key which I purchased for £7 or so. But there is nowhere to use this key?? I'm very confused and hacked off. Any help would be appreciated. My boiler is a Worcester 24i junior. ( I have downloaded the manuals but there is nothing about recharging)
Thanks
