Can't open my door!

Hi all

Having problems with the side door to my house

I have unlocked the lock, pushed the handle down and the door won't open.

The door is loose at top and bottom. (Can prise it with my hands) but where the lock is the door is stuck.

Please can someone advise what I need to do to be able to open the door? Cheers

Try lifting the door on the handle side as you open. If this works the door has just dropped a bit and needs either adjusting on the hinges or heal and toeing.

If it dosent work your locking mech has most likely failed and is going to need replacing.
