I am going to work on my chimney and redo the haunchings and take down an old chimney.
only one chimney out of the 4 is being used (real fire) and so i wanted to bung up the other 3 chimneys. my neighbour has just put mortar over the top of his.
is there a better way of doing this ? i want to keep the little round clay pots as they are attractive. can you buy a bung of some sort? i have seen some houses have put a flue terminal in the top, but i would prefer to do something which is hidden.
