Hi,

Im looking for some advice on what to cover up my chimney pots with, i just noticed last year they were letting water in when a roofer was cementing holes in chimney.

They have probably been like this for years, so this needs to be the first job of the year. Ive priced 'chimney pot flue vents' (mortar) total cost £120 or 'chimney caps' (plastic) at £50.

The plastic caps are half the price, but can anybody advise how long they will last?

cheers

I use these where possible. No good for square pots though or some of the very big round old style pots(the type people have in their gardens)These will fit most pots though.
