Capri 28c on off dial broken

Hi the switch to turn the boiler is broken ... is there any way to fix this ? Right now I just use a screwdriver to move it up and down. Please advise I don't fancy forking out for a new boiler!

just fit any single channel external timeswitch and leave that one set to on
