hi everyone happy new year I have a ford mondeo 1999 2.0 zetec engine when you put your foot on the gas it bucks slightly and the same when you take your foot off at different speeds. it has no error codes so if anyone could help that would be wonderful.

i guess by bucks you mean judders / jumps. i'd check the basics first, plugs and leads. a faulty leads may cause a spark jump under load, which would cause it to miss but not all the time, also check your plugs, maybe worn or gaps not consistent across the plugs. I guess this is a zetec petrol engine?
thanks for your response I have changed the spark plugs new ht leads and a new coil pack still no difference just such a niggle of a thing. thanks again for your advice best regards
