Hi, does anyone know how to clone the transponder keys for Vauxhall cars prior to 1998, can you do it yourself or do you have to take it to a dealers/locksmiths.

Hi

You Can't do it yourself has to go to the dealer or locksmith.

You can take an already programmed chip out of the key though, for instance if you have broken a key, and have a cut unprogrammed replacement

At the dealership I worked at, a Transponder key pre-1998 was around £25.00 cut & programmed.
