x reg punto lost keys

hi all,
as above i have been stupid and lost the car keys!!
does any one know how much fiat dealer will charge for a new key or can anyone reccomend a cheapish auto locksmith in bradford
i appreciate any help

Do you have the original blue key?
Replacement keys can be coded from this, if I recall correctly.

i wish i did mate. i have no keys whatsoever except a screwdriver which got me into the car to see if id locked them inside lol

It depends, X reg is on a model change, so it could be the old shape or the later one.

On the later shape, some can have the keys programed using suitable diagnostic equipment, or keys obtained from Fiat that come pre-programed to the car.

On the old shape, I can't quite remember but I think some can be programed with diagnostic equipment. But the ones that where originally supplied with a red master key cannot be reprogramed at all! without this key, and a lock set with a red key and the ECU which is matched to this key would be needed.
