Carpet underlay on asphalt floor

Hi guys hope fully a quick if not stupid question
Once the grippers are down how do I fix the underlay on my asphalt floor ready for carpet. Does it need glueing down or something else or nothing.

Spray adhesive should be ok. Or double sided tape would work.
Glue grippers down don’t nail mate

If the carpet is kinda thick, and it fits on the floor sizes, then that would be great from your end to use strong adhesive tapes or solution. Double sided tape can be done as well, but it would be needed to have a strong adhesive side so that it won't get easily removed.
