Carpet Underlay

Hi,
What is the best underlay for hessian backed carpet. I am trying to find something to reduce the denting from furniture. It seems to me that even the top priced foam type underlay compresses too much, causing permanent localised stretching of the carpet.
I'm sure this didn't happen so much when we had the old felt underlay, is it still available?
your advise would be appreciated.

Crumb Rubber Underlay is fantastic for this, something like Duralay Treadmore, or natural felt like Axminster Axfelt65.
