is there a general size for the diameter of an old cast iron soil pipe as i need a wc connnector and the regular 110mm are all to big and if so where can i gewt one cheers
Yours is probably " 3 1/2" " ie three and a half inches, then, usually cast into the side of the pipe. McAlpine do pan connectors that size as a standard. See their web site.
