I have a leak from the waste pipe contraption at the back of my toilet so I was thinking of replacing it all with just a McAlpine flexible pan connector WC-F23R. I believe that the fins on the end of the connector are designed to fit in a 110mm socket. From the photo, the cast iron socket on the soil pipe seems rather large. I don't have a very good way to take any measurements. Can any of you experienced plumbers look at that photo and tell me what size it will be? Are there any cast iron sockets that are larger than 110mm?
Is the WC-F23R suitable for the job? Will I need anything else to make this connection?
Thank you.
