cat 5e television system

Hi

If Im going to run cat 5e cable through the house, how can I use this to send a tv signal from downstairs tv to upstairs?

I have read in various places this is possible if so what are the pros and cons over coaxial

AFAIK it can be done providing you fit a balun to each end of the cat5 cable

I don't really know much about it though having never used this system my self.

Might be worth you having a look at www.kat5.tv (yes, k, not c). This might achieve what you want.

There's a user forum hosted at http://www.automatedhome.co.uk/vbulletin/forumdisplay.php?f=23 (there's a link on the kat5 website but it's not instantly obvious.

Disclaimer: I've never seen or used this product - but just aware it exists.
