cavity closing

windows are already installed on outer leaf. what's a good and easy way to close the cavity around the window opening prior to plastering ?
(70mm cavity)

looks like the dacatie closers fit to both leafs of the wall which i can't do because the windows are already fitted. but thanks.

You also get a single leaf cavity closer similar to Silvertip's - Dactie" by TDI. These can be fitted to either the external or internal leaf...pinenot
 
We use foil sandwich p.i.r. foam board insulation and foam-fix it in.

We make wedges out of the foam board to temporarily trap the board before foaming.

Proprietary closers are pants.
 
I have now done the insulation board/foam method and it works a treat. Easy ,quick and cheap. Great tip..thanks guys.
