HI there,

We had our cavities filled, and whilst a certain amount was expected to blow through various holes in the building fabric, we were under the impression that as the stuff was pumped in, a glue was added to the mix that held the stuff together.

Now, a good month or two down the line, we are having some finishing off work done to the house and in various places the flipping stuff is still falling out.

One major place seems to be the precast flue - thankfully no longer in use, but shows how lethal that would have been if we used the fire

The other REALLY annoying place seems to be in a bedroom that is an older extension. Some nimrod thought it would be a good idea to overboard the ceiling with tongue and groove planks. We are trying to take it down for the plasterers to come in and re do the upstairs ceilings in one hit.

However, I took one of the edging tstrips off and the insulation beads are pouring out

A certificate of guarantee arrived last week through CIGA. Are they any good?

Or am I expecting too much from the whole thing?

The decorator is doing his nut
