hi building a 2 story extension for the first time - the lintels for the second floor windows come in at a brick below soffit height, do people still put trays across them? Also do people put another cavity tray along the wall and the start of gamble height as if you would every floor lift? Thanks

I didn’t and don’t believe it’s normally a requirement
I didn't put cavity trays over my French doors on my single storey extension. There is quite a roof overhang and I can't see how water would get into the cavity.
