Hi

I am building a single story L shaped side and rear extension (garage/kitchen/sun lounge). I am planning on using 100mm durox supabloc for the internal skin with dot and dab plasterboard.

Is there any advantage of using a 70mm cavity over a preferred 50mm cavity?

Is there any preferance of partial fill or full fill insulation? Would 30mm Celotex boards suffice?

Many thanks.

i think, bregs now ask for a 50mm clear cavity in partial fill cavities that would mean if you use 30mm insul then you need at least an 80mm cavity.
a cavity helps in insulation and prevents cold bridging which leads to damp etc.
