I've just installed my new cctv system which works brilliantly during the day. However, at night, the halogen lighting in the porch blinds the camera lense. I've repositioned the direction of the halogen light but it prevents the IR from switching on. As a result, the camera can see only who or what is on the porch and not what is on the drive way in front of the porch.

Switching the porch light off allows the IR to see up to 10 meters but visitors to the building can't see where they are going in the dark.

Is there such a thing as a visible light which does not cut out the infrared led lights on the camera?
