Hi all!

see attached photos

I'm trying to replace a cold water CDA Kitchen tap cartridge, if you see the attached photos I have taken out the end cap and the screw. After I try to pull the tap cover horizontally, it will not move in any tap position! There is no grub screw on the tap themselves. I thought I would be able to remove with ease then replace with my new cartridge after removing the end screw.....you can see the screw thread there. Is there anything additionally I am missing here? Or is it just stuck!

May be limescale, try soaking in vinegar of better still a descaler like Limelite soak well and wrap in cloth or kitchen towel soak in it too leave overnight.

That worked, needed a bit of hard pulling the next day, but worked! Thanks, new cartridge replaced, drip gone and working...........
