Hi guys.
I posted a few weeks back, i had a couple of cracks appear in my freshly plastered ceiling at joins in the plasterboard.
The cracks were moving when i pressed against them, so i put more screws in and the movement stopped. The span of plasterboard is only about a meter as it is in the hallway. There are 7 screws each side of the joints over the span of a meter.
I dug out the cracks and filled them with easi-fill (i was advised to use a flexible filler bur as the movement went i thought it would be ok), sanded and painted.
One of the cracks looks to have been sorted but one has come back. I have pressed against it and a tiny amount of movement appears to have returned, despite all the screws.
What would be the best way to tackle this?
There are already loads of screws and the plasterboard appeared to be right against the joist (the new screws pulled it a little closer).
Would a flexible filler be enough or will that still crack with the movement?
Thanks
