Ceiling rose with 'side entry' for cable?

Any idea if there is such a thing as a ceiling rose were the cable exit is on the side of the body rather than the standard (cough) 'bottom exit'? Want to run the exiting cable parallel to the ceiling for a short distance to enter a light fitting.

I guess I could drill holes, etc, but that probably breaks regulations and will look nasty (and still leave a visible, erm...., 'bottom hole'..

Have tried google, etc, but no luck finding what I need (though 'side entry' turned up a few distractions).

Hi, you can get a round pattress box to give you side entry !

crabtree ceiling roses have clip on covers rather than screw on ones, so you could if desired cut a slot out the cover
