Cement & Hardcore

I was wanting a really weak concrete just to hold something in place for a while, I have cement and any amount of hardcore (but no aggregate) - what would happen if I sieved out some of the bigger bits from the hardcore and mixed the finer stuff with cement - would it bond it together ?

Yes. Have you ever seen a bag of cement that has got wet & hardened, it dries like rock.

I once had some leftover type 1 mot from making the sub base for my garden path. It was really nice and dusty, like ballast. I added some cement and it made fantastic concrete.
