Central heating and HW to annexe using gas bottles

We are converting garage to annexe, one bedroom, living room, bathroom, kitchen. Very small, total 50m2.

There is no gas feed to it at the moment and it may be a while until we manage to connect one. For the interim it has been suggested to me that I can get a dual gas/bottled gas combination boiler, and use gas bottles until a proper mains gas pipe is installed. We will only need to change the burners on the boiler.

Has anyone got experience with this type of system?

Some boilers are supplied with a lpg conversion kit.
There are many installs on bottled gas.
