Central heating and water off

Hi all, I apologise if this has been asked before but I am going away for a couple of weeks and would like to turn the water off at the stopcock but as its winter while I'm away I want to be able to put my heating on timer for when we get home. Can I do this with the water turned off.

What type of system is it? It should be ok, but have you had any issues?

Hi it's a combi system I believe. Never had a problem.

Yes you can...do check the pressure on the gauge though so the boiler doesnt automatically shut down.
