I am going away soon for a couple of weeks. The central heating and hot water will be switched off. Is it safe to turn the gas supply off at the meter as a point of safety?

But do leave you boiler connected to the power as modern ones exercise the pump every day if not otherwise used.

It's an old boiler, works perfectly, but I don't disconnect form the power. Thanks.
