Central heating fault

Thanks, is this correct to replace the valve:
  1. Turn off at fused spur
  2. isolate the supply from the header tank
  3. drain down central heating upstairs radiators (The 3 way is in the airing cupboard upstairs so drain to below level of 3-way)
  4. disconnect valve and replace without actuator fitted
  5. connect new actuator
  6. fit to valve
  7. refil system and bleed air
  8. Check for leaks
  9. Turn on at fused spur

Pretty much as you outline,but..
Check F&E for cleanliness before draining ,you don't want any crud present to find its way into system.
When disconnecting the wiring ,do ONE conductor at a time i.e. remove orange ,fit new orange in its place etc.
Before refilling add inhibitor.
Before filling ,manually latch 3 port to mid position.
