Central Heating goes on and off..

Hi Thanks for reading the post

I have Glowworm flexi com SX condensing Boiler

with mains pressured Hot water system (mega flow)

The heating comes on when switched on but only stays on for 1 then it switches itself off, it will re-fire and work again in about 2 hours then do the same again the thermostat is on 28c .

could the thermostat need replacing ?

I was not going to look at anything that's involved in the gas train.
I Just wanted to know If anybody has had this sort of problem ,|So when I do call in REGISTERED corgi gas fitter (if NEEDED) I wont be ripped off.
