Fault: No hot water, unless central heating is on.

The main circuit flow switch/valve refuses to operate unless the boiler is set to CH. (The pump operates during the hot water and CH mode.) The instruction manual suggests that the main circuit flow switch/valve may be faulty, but it operates perfectly in the central heating mode.

Can anyone help, please???

Check whether the diverter valve is operating - ie pushing the microswitches fully when the tap is turned on.
