Hi guys

I have recently had central heating installed in the house. What I am now looking for is to take a link for the kitchen radiator and run these to a radiator in my office (Approx 3m from gable wall)

Can I dig down a channel under the garden path, lay in peas, run the pipes. Create a wooden box as a temp, and cover with expanding foam, remove the woodenbox, cover with peas and lay soil and slabs back down, would that be enough to stop freezing in winter?

Any thoughts?

How would you control this new zone? When house heating shuts down so will the office which may not be suitable. How far down does the frost penetrate where you are? If you're on gas then consider a standalone heater.
