Central Heating Problem - Potterton Promax Condensing Boiler

Has anyone else had the same issue?

My boiler ignites every 15 mins and the flame stay's on for approx. 1 min, heating the boiler. It does this without fail even when the controls for the heating and water are OFF!

I have examined the boiler for a fault, trouble-shooting any lights for a problem, there is no fault showing at all.

Does anyone have any idea what the problem may be?

There is a back up water tank immersion upstairs with a tank and other controls, valves etc.

Therefore I'm not certain if the fault is related directly with the boiler itself or something else.

Any help or advice is greatly appreciated
