Hi,

This is my First Post.

Combi Boiler Cheffoteaux&Maury
3 Double Rads
5 Single

I recently noticed that my Upstairs Radiators get Hot, Downstairs Cold, Had BG come out and they fitted new heat sensors, New Pump but problem remained.

Then I was told a PowerFlush was needed, I did this with a friend of mine all radiators removed and cleaned and pipes flushed.

Radiators are reconnected but I still have the same problem

Any Ideas ?

Thanks in advance

Pav

Try "switching off" the upstairs rad's by closing the valves at either end of the rad's and fully opening the valves of the downstairs rad's at both ends. This might force hot water through the downstairs one's. If this cure's the problem then open the upstiars rad valves a 1/4 or 1/2 turn, see balancing in the FAQ's section for more info.
