FFS its your neighbour property and you want to enclose an item that gets rather hot in operation even more hot as it runs 24/7
 
Yeah it's stupid, only problem is out kitchen dinner sounds like a factory in the early / late hours since they put that machine in, and it's worth spending money on something.
I'm up for rubberized fixing, plastic sections adjacent the pump (are these really solid enough?), bit of acoustic foam behind the unit.

As a mere DIYer with a ****e CH system I'd say that the pump is noisy and vibrating because the impeller is full of crud and spinning off balance.
 
Rideforever,to get your pump quietened down will cost around £200 from an experienced heating technician.

Then around £85 per hour to locate (only) any other noise sources,there could be a few.
 
Can you switch the pump to a different speed setting (temporarily at least) to check if that stops the noise?

I think that Vaillant discovered that!

Oddly Saunier Duval had hardly any problems with theirs.

Rad hoses on cars operate at about 110 C and rarely have any bursts nowadays.

So it seems that it is the specification of the pipe which has to be man enough for the job.
 
Asked twice now!

But I still don't know why the pump operates 24/7 !
