Hi Last week turned on Central Heating for the first time since April, central heating works fine and loads of hot water, but when the timer turns off the heating the pump continues to run, for the first fews days if you turned off the electrical supply the pump stopped and when the electrics were switched on again did not start up now as soon as you turn the electric on again it starts up.

The pump is about three years old and situated in the airing cupboard upstairs.

any ideas what may be wrong.
