Hi All,
I'm desperately looking for help/advice the kids are in two pairs of pj's & going to bed with hot water bottles (<-- tugging at heart strings) ;
I switched our central heating on for the first time since the winter, and noticed only 2 of 6 radiators got hot, I bled them all (very little air escaped) and now none of them have any heat !
The boiler (halstead wickes lw40ci) is seemingly working fine and is piping hot.
What I have noticed is the central heating pump (Circulating Pumps CP53) is literally blisteringly red hot, my trusty google has thrown up a couple of options :-
a) Low pressure in the system causing pump to run dry ?
b) Ceased pump
Does that sound feasible ? and if so how do I pressurise the system ?
Any help advise is sincerely appreciated
Regards,
Gary
