Hello, need some help please.
I had my bolier serviced on thursday and as i was having problem with my hot water the guy who serviced it told me i could switch it off on the wall and back on if i had any more problems.
I did so but today i have no heating and the temperature on the display says 13 degress even though it should be on. Any ideas how i can change the temperature or is there a probelm?
Thanks

Press (i) on the 4 button display. What does it say?

If it's saying S23, it's either since fired up or it's lockout out. Which did it do?
It may be obvious but I guess you've checked your programmer and roomstat.

Hi well i came back from work today and no sound from the central heating. I have turned the hot water tap on and ignition light doesn't come on but the green light is flashing.
By programmer you mean the dial of the wall of when the heating should come on as i have left that now on on all the time.
I am new to this so a bit lost so really appreciate all the help you can give.

When the green light is flashing and you saw S33, did you here the fan running?

Sounds like the a.p.s. Is faulty. You need a decent engineer that knows vaillant boilers to come and fix it for you and check the rest of the boiler through, but not the engineer you recently had as he clearly didn't fix it the first time.
If you're having trouble with this part, it may well need a couple others too, depending on it's age.
