CH been playing up for last few months i.e goes crap then ok just before gonna call engineer. Basic scenario is oil fired boiler does not respond to programmer when CH is turned on but will if hot water is then turned on - thought this was motorised valve failure - had this replaced a day ago. Now CH did respond so far but for some reason turned itself off after a few hours and then doesn't respond in evenings???
programmer is doing strange things (its a TH0471) like the red 'on' light comes on when i flick through settings 1,2,3 when they're not even scheduled for that time - does this require a new programmer?
