Lets say that you have two zones in your home to keep it simple. The upstairs and the downstairs.
Downstairs you only want to have the heating on at 6-8am on a morning for getting up and say 6-8pm on an evening arriving home.
Upstairs you want to ensure that the room stays at 23oC from 10pm until 6am.
With the above basic example can somebody explain how it works?
I understand that the thermostat will kick in for your downstairs zone at the specified times but how do you ensure that the upstairs is not on at the same time? How does the CH not heat upstairs whilst heating downstairs?
